BAN SMOKING

 Hi for writing we had to make a persuasive argument about something I choose ban smoking heres my persuasive writing. did it convince you?

Ban smoking!!

I believe that smoking should be banned for the health of the people and the planet!

IT'S JUST GROSS. 

Who wants to be putting smoke everywhere you might even set off the smoke alarm or

START A FIRE, did you know that one in twenty home fires were started by smoking?

In Auckland the 3rd most common reason for a house fire was from smoking, it could be because people

falling asleep when smoking or leaving a lit cigarette going and walking away.

Also they can start forest fires, bush fires and all sorts of other fires. 

It also smells like poo who wants to smell like poo? I don't. It causes stinky breath.

Will everyone please think of the planet? 

Cigarette butts are made from plastic which leak chemicals into water where they stay for up to ten years

and poison the fish, 4.5 trillion cigarettes are thrown away every year it is the most littered item on earth!

Everyone in the world needs to pick up 642 butts a year to rid the world of cigarette litter!

Rapidly, people smoke every day on earth. Smoking is bad and makes people sick.

So if you want to save the planet and ocean life STOP SMOKING AND BAN IT!!
